What’s in my suitcase????

Two Months of Mixing & Matching!

Suitcase was expandable but it got very heavy very fast

Packing for my trip – This was a tough task given that it has been unseasonably hot in Italy and Spain. Everyday has been in the 90’s.  ( I know, such a hardship to be in Italy & Spain during a heat wave…)  I opted to take a smaller, more lightweight suitcase because I needed to be able to lift it and haul it around on trains and buses.  This meant really paring down especially since I want to shop the sales in Italy and Spain.  (Me thinks I will be shipping a box or two back to Dallas sometime during my trip…)

Tenni came over yesterday and helped me make the initial pull.  I edited it today after taking photos.  It boils down to this:

  • 6 pairs of shoes plus
  • one athletic sneaker and one pair of flip flops
  • 3 pair of shorts
  •   3 Dresses
  • 3 everyday shirts
  • 4 “nice shirts”
  • 6 T-shirts
  • 2 swimsuits
  • 1 Coverup
  • 1 scarf
  • 2 workout outfits
  • 1  pair “lounge pants”
  • 1 pair of “shorty-shorts”
My shoe assortment along with belts
My "Casual"Girl in Florence look. The Xerina bras under my shirts has become a signature for me.
I am reprising my vintage dresses. It's my old/new "Girl in Florence & Barcelona" look. Perfect for when I am meeting with vendors and shopkeepers to plan the 2018 trip.
This is THE perfect warm weather dress. To me, it says Spain, here I come!
I plan on wearing this a multitude of places. Dinner in Chianti, Lunch in Capri. Drinks in Seville.
Can't go wrong with black & white. White jeans will elevate the tees a notch. Of course I can't go ANYWHERE without my silver loafers;)
My "MaryAnn" (from Gilligans Island) shorts. So cute with my orange Uggs. I will switch to white jeans for a cool, casual option.
Same song, Second verse.
Another "cool girl" option. Great for daytime wandering around or sipping Aperol spritzes at Harry's Bar in Venice.
One more "Nice-Casual" outfit for good measure.
