My summer break will be spent in Italy and Spain!  I am traveling solo and leave Dallas June 21 for Florence and return August 16 from Madrid.  I am  nervous yet excited.  I’ve even started taking Italian lessons!!

I have an apartment in Florence for 28 days.  I wanted to know what it was like to “live” in a foreign city.  As well as soaking in the local culture (and practicing my Italian), I will be planning a shopping trip for 2018 for my clients.  The 2018 shopping trip will consist of cool, indie boutique shopping, outlet mall shopping – Prada, Gucci, Tod’s, Cuccinelli, Ferragamo all at outlet mall prices and edited just for you with my eagle eye.  I plan to take the group on fashion tours – The Gucci and Ferragamo museum, The Piti palace, a cooking class and who knows what else I will find while I am there this summer.

I will take full advantage of the train system and take side trips to Venice, Bologna, Modena, and a few cities TBD.

After Florence, I head to Minori on the Amalfi Coast. Ravello, Positano, Pompeii and Naples are on my must see list.  Then it is off to Capri for two glorious, people watching days and nights.

I am sure it will be hard to leave Italy but Spain has been on my to do list for years.  I head to Barcelona for 6 nights.  My sister will be joining me.  In addition to museums, cooking classes and Flamenco dancers, I have vendors lined up to see while in Barcelona.  I’m excited to bring back some treasures for all my “Buy Request” girls.

From Barcelona, I am off to Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Granada and Madrid.

Goodness knows what got into me but here I am with my tickets purchased, Air BnB’s rented and tours booked.  I will be blogging these next few weeks leading up to my trip as well as blogging during my trip.  Look for emails letting you know an update has been posted to my website.
I look forward to sharing my journey with you!
